Scott Cameron is a vascular medicine physician and cardiologist. He is an expert in managing acute cardiac and thrombotic emergencies. He is board-certified in internal medicine, vascular medicine, cardiovascular disease, a registered physician in vascular interpretation, He has a basic and translational research laboratory funded by the NHLBI in platelet biology and thrombosis, and has published > 80 manuscripts on vascular biology and thrombosis. He was the founding member of the University of Rochester’s Pulmonary Embolism Response Team which received a citation from the hospital Quality and Safety Committee for a dramatic decrease in patient mortality over a two-year period. Scott serves as a physician investigator at the Cleveland Clinic.
