Anna Krawisz, M.D., is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a cardiologist and vascular medicine specialist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). Dr. Krawisz has a clinical focus on resistant hypertension and vascular medicine. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Krawisz conducts research at the Smith Center for Outcomes Research in Cardiology. Her research interests include disparities in care for peripheral artery disease and interventional therapies for peripheral artery disease. Dr. Krawisz’s work is funded by a John S. LaDue Memorial Fellowship award from Harvard University. During her fellowship, she was awarded the Jay D. Coffman Early Career Investigator Award from the American Heart Association and was a finalist for the American College of Cardiology Young Investigator Award. Dr. Krawisz is a graduate of the BIDMC Cardiovascular Fellowship program where she completed vascular medicine subspecialty training. During her fellowship, she served as the Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Krawisz completed her internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She completed her MD at the Stanford University School of Medicine where she was the recipient of a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Medical Fellows research award.
