Dr. Eberhardt is the Director of Vascular Medical Services at Boston Medical Center and Clinical Professor of Medicine and Surgery in the Sections of Cardiovascular Medicine and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Boston University School of Medicine. He is board-certified in cardiovascular medicine and vascular medicine. He is recognized for his expertise in vascular medicine and vascular imaging. He has focused his professional efforts to enhance training and quality in these areas. He has served on the board of directors and as chair of the exam development committee for the American Board of Vascular Medicine, on the board of directors for IAC - Vascular Testing, and on the oversight assessment committee for the Physician Vascular Interpretation Exam. He has been invited as a speaker or moderator on various vascular related topics at numerous national meetings. His research interests have included understanding the mechanism and consequences vascular dysfunction and clinical predictors of outcomes in various vascular disorders. His interest in venous disease has been demonstrated in prior scholarly writings including prior reviews on chronic venous disease in the journal Circulation and vascular medicine training in JACC.
